The Welfare of all, is always our top priority!

March Academy Football Club is committed to its responsibilities to safeguarding the welfare of all children, young people and adults involved in grassroots football.

At March Academy FC, we take Welfare and Safeguarding extremely seriously.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and we're proud to introduce our dedicated Club Welfare Officers.

Our Welfare Officers are here to help create a safe, inclusive and positive environment for every boy, girl, player, parent, volunteer and coach at our club.

What does an FA Club Welfare Officer do?

* Acts as the first point of contact for safeguarding and welfare concerns.
* Supports children, young people and adults in a safe, positive football environment.
* Ensures the club follows FA safeguarding policies and best practice.
* Promotes The FA Respect programme across the club.
* Works with Cambridgeshire FA when additional support or action is needed.

It is vital that every player, parent and coach knows who their Welfare Officers are and how to contact them.

Together, we can ensure football remains safe, enjoyable and welcoming for everyone.

How to Whistle Blow
Anyone who has a concern about the welfare of a child or the behaviour of an adult towards a child or young person under 18 years of age in football, is required to refer it to The FA Safeguarding team. The team is staffed by professionals who are experienced in dealing with these concerns.
