Last weekend our Under 10 Blues played out an exciting and entertaining match in the Leagues Under 10 Hereward Cup against a very strong One Touch Red U10s

Our Blues found themselves 1-3 down at half time but following a brief encouraging team chat the players dug their heels in displaying great determination and teamwork by scoring two superb all round team goals during the second period to level the score and take the match to a penalty shoot-out.
The commitment and work rate throughout the game by both teams was amazing to watch and all players were a credit to their team and club.

The shoot-out was a tense affair, both goalkeepers were outstanding by producing some superb saves.
Player of the match was awarded to a thoroughly deserving Preston for his great performance in between the sticks both during the match and by pulling off 4 terrific penalty stops.

Our Under 10 Blues progress to the Hereward Cup Quarter-Final, to be played on Saturday 28th February.

Team Coaches, Darren and Matt are incredibly proud of the character, effort and attitude shown by every single player, both in this fixture and in their continued hard work at training sessions. Their football development and love of the game is a pleasure to see.
