Over the course of this week, we'll be introducing some of the incredible people who make up our March Academy FC football family – the local grassroots coaches, volunteers and heroes who give so much of their time to our players and community.

First up... The Legend himself – Tony Russell ⭐

Our very own Head Coach, Chairman, Founder and the man who introduced local grassroots youth football to March.

For over 35 years, Tony has shared his vast football knowledge, experience and passion with our community, coaching thousands of local youngsters and helping them develop, enjoy the game, progress and succeed both on and off the pitch.

He is true definition of 'Starman' ( a name he uses himself alot), Tony's dedication has helped shape generations of players, supported adult football, inspired countless volunteers and created opportunities for so many within our local community.

The best part? He's still out there doing what he loves – coaching, playing and inspiring others every week.

From everyone at March Academy FC, thank you Tony for everything you've given, and continue to give, to grassroots football.
